Congregate Meals & Home Delivered Meals

Contact: Donna Schultz
Phone: (847) 797-5353

Through Catholic Charities' Lunch-n-More program, 450 meals are provided to seniors who are home bound and require delivery, or who take their meals in a congregate setting at a senior center where they can also socialize with other seniors. The meals are freshly prepared by Lunch-N-More to be appealing to seniors while also meeting the nutrition standards set for seniors’ nutritional needs by our registered dietitian. Congregate meals are provided by this program five days a week at the Arlington Heights Senior Center as well as in Robbins at Catholic Charities' St. Peter Claver Courts senior residence. Daily home-delivered meals are provided for five South Suburban townships: Bloom, Bremen, Calumet, Rich and Thornton. For a full list of all congregate and home delivered meals programs associated with Catholic Charities, please see entries under Senior Services beginning on page 26.
