Chi-Town Jazz Festival to support Catholic Charities

Love jazz or just looking for something new to do? Four concerts, part of the 8th annual Chi-Town Jazz Festival for Hunger Relief, will benefit Catholic Charities. Tickets for all shows are $20 for adults and $10 for students under age 25 with ID. All tickets can be purchased at http://chitownjazzfestival.org/artists-and-venues/tickets.

Jazz Showcase, 806 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago
Hear the Blanche Blacke Quintet, Bobby Lewis Quintet, and Makaya McCraven's Group. Jazz Showcase is the oldest historic jazz club in Chicago, founded in 1947 by Joe Segal.
8 p.m. Friday, March 10
Winter's Jazz Club, 465 N. McClurg Court, Chicago
The beautiful new Winter's Jazz Club hosts this evening of exciting jazz vocals and original music. Performers will be Typhanie Monique group, Sarah Marie Young quartet, and Aaron McEvers Quintet.
7 p.m. Saturday, March 11
Piano Forte, 1335 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago
Chicago favorites Tammy McCann and Jeremy Kahn perform on the intimate PianoForte stage.
8 p.m. Saturday, March 11
Green Mill, 4802 N. Broadway, Chicago
Performing will be The Ron Perrillo quartet, Bakerzmillion, and Jon Deitemyer's Tall Tales. Green Mill has supported the festival every year.
